I downloaded this app to keep track of workout reps (squats, sit-ups, etc.) and it works wonderfully. Very well done.
Just what I needed. Thanks!
Big buttons, option for lefties, easy to use. Im not sure its been optimized for the iPhone 5 & up because the app loads, then pauses a second to fill the entire screen. A major drawback is how the app constantly reminds you to turn on cellular data when that is switched off. I dont need to upload data, stop bugging me!
Use volume keys to increment tally to allow for tactical feedback. This would be helpful when eyes cant be kept on the screen to avoid miss-taps.
PROS: ◾Nice large buttons. ◾Very small reset button to avoid accidental resets, and an undo function just in case you do reset and change your mind. ◾Option to show the current tally as a badge number in the icon. ◾Option for lefties-very nice; Im right-handed, but do most things left-handed on my iPhone. CONS: ◾Just a minor quibble: the volume for the sounds could be just a bit louder. SUMMARY: This app has everything it needs for its basic mission with nothing gimmicky about it. But it is gloriously and unapologetically Sceuomorphic!
Works perfectly
This elegant counter app is simple and functional.
Perfect little counter app. I use it weekly. It has a simple straight forward design without a lot of noise. Well done.
I have used this app for years to keep track of attendance at events that are regularly held in my area. It works great and I will continue using it.
I use it to count shots on goal. Super simple and efficient.
Pretty good app!!
Dev listened to us and gave us color!! New flat look is nice, maybe only bc its different but still very welcome by me. Also added new export options.
Simple in design and functionality.
Simple app for tallying. Going to use it for counting the bats flying out of my house.
This is the best app I have ever had the absolute pleasure of owning. With a tally option I up to 9999, the app clearly sets a record in my book. I have to resist the urge to tap the "+" button for hours, because I would be surpassing 9998 before you know it! This app is stunning, with the beautiful graphics, and detailed counting methods. Sometimes, late at night, when I feel alone and have nobody to talk to, this app comforts me. I just continuously just tap between the "+" and "–" buttons, somethings at random if I am feeling really scandalous. The way that the app just... tallys, gets me every single time. Theres no app or website that puts as much detail and time into the making of such a great and useful tool. Tally Counter is such a splendid way to count very accurately, without all the strain and hardships of your average calculator/tally-counter. All of these fascinating features, plus the unbeatable price, makes this app the best I have, and ever will buy!
Its clean and simple, yet it has some extra features - like the ability to have Siri speak your count for you. If you want multiple counters on the same screen, you need to buy their pro version. Other apps give this to you for free. However, I have not seen the speech option in other apps yet. Of course, I wasnt really looking for that. It might be an easy way to teach counting to a toddler. I look forward to trying it out.
I use this app all the time for projects to track the number of occurrences of all sorts of people or items. Its fun to use w friends or kids for games like trying to find the most people wearing a certain color shirt ect.
Due to a medical condition my doctor wants me to drink 6 to 8 bottles of water per day. This is the perfect way to keep track of how much Im drinking. Its simple and does the job nicely!
It does what is says it will do. My only problem with it is that the reset icon is an “X.” In most interfaces, that means “close.” So of course the first time I tried to close it, it reset my counter without a warning. Now I’m completely distracted by that X and have to remind myself not to close the app that way! Would be perfect if a more universally understood icon for “reset” was used.
